What is your photography style?
As you can see, my style is very emotionally charged. While I always have a strong focus on creating gorgeous portrait work, nothing captures my heart more than creating and capturing images with deep emotion. While I absolutely love creating that editorial look for that dramatic or romantic portrait of you and your love, it is that weepy look, the long laugh, or the longing side glance that fills my soul.
What do you shoot with?
Only the best stuff :) My digital equipment includes a Canon 5D Mark III and multiple lenses, flashes and back up gear. My film equipment includes Hasselblad with every lens imaginable.
What? You shoot film?
Right now I shoot portraits only on film by request. Images taken on film are beautiful, so clean and bright and timeless. I love to shoot it. All my other work, and most the work you see on my website were all shot digitally.
Why should I care about having a second photographer?
Well, to me this is a no brainer, but I get this question often. It's another set of eyes, someone I have personally trained, to capture more moments for you. It's that simple.
Can we do an engagement session?
Of course! Take a look over my galleries, engagement sessions are the bomb. Not only do you get to spend an hour or two being all mushy together but you get to be mushy in front of me! C'mon, that's awesome! :) Oh, and you will get awesome images too for your Save the Dates, and it's a great for you to get to know me before your big day.
Are you published?
Indeed, I am a 2015 artist of the year for LooksLikeFilm.com & a Best of Weddings choice by The Knot for 2016, I have been published by both, including a magazine feature coming out in May 2016. My work has also been published on Trendy Bride, Lemonade and Lenses and Lace in Light.
And tell me about you....
I have been married to my sweetheart for 18 years, and we have three beautiful girls. When they aren't busy commanding me around and I am not shooting, you can often find me reading and drinking coffee, or drinking coffee and reading, or just drinking coffee to go with my coffee. Mmmmm, coffee....
Are albums available?
Absolutely, as part of my third package and ala carte. You can order a book with me at any time after your wedding within the first three years. You can see a preview of what those albums look like on www.redtreealbums.com
Why should I get an album?
It's a personal decision..... While, I give my clients their edited digital copies, NOTHING beats having something printed in hand. Years down the road, it is the album your children and grandchildren will cherish....not the digital images that will disappear into the lost worlds of social media.
Ok, what about pricing?
Yeah, I know.
